2010 Basketball Nova Scotia Coaching Summit to be held September 11, 2010
Dave Smart - Head Coach Carleton Ravens, 6 time CIS Champion Coach and 3 time CIS Coach of the Year will be the Feature presentor at the BNS 2010 Summit. The Summit will be held over one day at Citadel High School, with the two gyms running concurrently. One gym will focus on the High School, College and University Level Coaching. The other gym will focus on Jr Mini, Mini and Bantam Level Coaching. Attendees will have the option to go to whatever session they would like in either gym. Please click here for more details.

2010 BNS RTC PROGRAM
The BNS RTC Program objective is to identify and assist in the development of players ages 12-17, who show the potential/desire to play Basketball at a Competitive level, as well as provide Coach development opportunities, either directly or indirectly as an observer. Cutting Edge Clinic With Alan Stein

Thunder Selects Basketball is very proud to announce that we will once again be hosting Alan Stein, the top basketball specific trainer in the United States, for an All Inclusive Player Development Clinic in September.  The dates for this year’s Cutting Edge Clinic are September 10-12 and it will be held at Quinpool Education Centre.  This year's clinic will feature 2 divisions... 1) Junior Girls and Boys (Grade 6-8) as well as 2) Senior Girls and Boys (Grade 9-12). 
 

Important Notice to Coaches - Transition to Introduction to Competition Complete!
The NCCP will no longer be accepting Level 1 components for certification. Anyone who does not have all components completed and registered with the NCCP will be required to take the Introduction to Competition program to become certified.

BNS will begin scheduling clinics in the fall. Please watch our website for details.

The NCCP expects to complete transition from Level 2 to Introduction to Competition - Advanced by early in 2011. Please ensure all components are completed and registered early to avoid losing certification.
